About Grand Prix Charters
Grand Prix Charters grew from a deep passion for sailing and being out on the open water.
It was founded in 2025 by Claude Pett who most recently competed in the Rolex Fastnet Race 2025.
With some of the best sailing waters in the world on our doorstep, we saw a niche for offering high-end, personalised charter experiences across the Solent.

The Solent has such a reputation for being one of the best sailing areas in the UK — and in fact, the world, because of a rare combination of geography, tides, and weather patterns - protected enough for comfort, varied enough for challenge, and steeped in maritime history.

About Grand Prix
The Princess V39 is a luxury sports cruiser produced by Princess Yachts, a British yacht manufacturer renowned for quality craftsmanship, performance, and elegant design.
